Why organization matters

As your library grows, discovery speed becomes a quality issue. If users cannot find the right template quickly, they stop reusing best practices.

Core structure

Use three layers:

  • folder/table context (project or team)
  • category (workflow type)
  • tags (cross-cutting attributes)

Suggested categories

  • Research
  • Content
  • Code Review
  • Operations
  • Planning

Suggested tags

  • weekly
  • client-facing
  • internal
  • high-precision
  • draft

Tip

Keep categories broad and tags specific. Too many categories make navigation harder.
